Interviewing Courtenay Taylor: The Jack of All Voices

picture

I’ve had the privilege to interview the lovely Courtenay Taylor! She is the woman responsible for giving voice to several characters in video games like Jack from the Mass Effect series. She will also be voicing the role of Ada Wong in the upcoming horror game Resident Evil 6 when it comes out later this year.

Among many of the questions and topics discussed between Courtenay and I, we discussed her thoughts on fans asking for more content in Mass Effect 3 amidst all the controversy plaguing the game. She also gives some insight on what goes on when deciding future content between voice actors and video game companies for a better understanding. Other than that, we also talked about possible collaboration with fan projects and future convention visits. These are just a couple of the topics so if you want to hear more, feel free to check out the podcast.

Thank you once again, Courtenay! It was an honor to meet the Jack of All Voices.

Really awesome, Benny!! I honestly admit that Jack was the least of my favorite characters in ME2, but she was fantastic in ME3, which made me like her a lot (at least ONE thing that I liked in ME3…. lol). But the voice work was always superb! Count me in as a fan!

Great interview! This is the first one I’ve heard with her. Fantastic conversational flow. You really get an in-depth look into Courtenay’s perspective on her career and the Mass Effect series.
